I am using CPT Ui to add just a basic second blog to a site, and it’s not showing the sidebar.

    How do i fix this?

What are you using to try and display content in the sidebar? Widget? Shortcode? Somethng else?

For what it’s worth, CPTUI handles the registration of the content types, but does not do anything specific regarding the display of the content itself. That part is still up to the site owner to handle.

Never mind – the problem resolved itself after I switched to the new theme during the site update. All is good now.

Well, almost all – the CPT do not display the metadata on the post pages, but that is a minor issue.

Custom field display will also fall into the area of outside what we handle, but definitely an easy thing to resolve as well.

The problem with the metatdata is that your CPT isn’t showing the metadata when the regular posts are:

Best answer I can give you still is to check out your theme’s template files to see what may or may not be preventing the data from showing. We don’t have a setting or option or anything in CPTUI that will affect that.
