• I’m working on an Elementor site and found that when the Auto Coupons plugin is enabled, the express checkout options Google and Apple Pay are not displayed on mobile, tested with iPhone.

With the Auto Coupon plugin disabled, the buttons for Google and Apple Pay show.

Please note that this only happens on mobile, and I’ve only tested iOS. On desktop everything works as expected.

    Hi Edith,

Auto Coupons was designed to work with modern WooCommerce blocks for checkout.

I’m happy to look into conflicts with Elementor. If you can provide the URL you are having trouble with, it will help me quickly recreate the issue and perhaps release a fix. If you are unable to post the URL in a public thread, you may use the support button within the plugin.

Just to clarify the conflict isn’t with Elementor, it’s with Apple and Google Pay which are managed through the WooPayments plugin. I have sent the site URL via support button.

It works on desktop: In Safari on a desktop device with Apple or Google Pay enabled, put an item into the cart – the buttons will show.

It doesn’t work on iPhone: in Safari on an iPhone with Apple or Google Pay enabled, put an item into the cart, the buttons won’t show.

    Hi Edith,

Thank you for the update. After a series of tests and initial troubleshooting, WooPayments must support the display of Apple Pay and Google Pay buttons when test mode is active. On a blank WP install, these payment options do not appear in WooPayments test mode. Without those options appearing, it’s impossible to isolate the conflict or confirm how the Auto Coupons plugin might be affecting their display on mobile devices.

Until WooPayments can reliably show these payment options in test mode on desktop, we’re unable to proceed with meaningful troubleshooting, as any potential conflicts can’t be identified or resolved without them being visible.

Please let me know if there are any changes or if WooPayments provides a solution to ensure the express checkout options appear in test mode.

I’ve passed your comment regarding WooPayments to WooCommerce.

In the meantime, my workaround is to disable the plugin and apply the coupon via a code snippet.

Thank you. Please let me know if they release an update to display Apple and Google pay in test mode on desktop. I’m happy to resume troubleshooting.
