Hi, since the new update the quick buy now button is triggering the side cart instead of letting the quick buy now button redirect the user to the checkout page. I tried different quick buy now button plugins and it still triggers the side cart. Not just on a single product page but also in quick view plugins I am facing this issue, again whenever I click on the quick buy button it triggers the side cart.

To make sure the issue actually happened from your plugin I disabled your plugin and the quick buy now button works on a single product page and in the quick view plugin as well.

I also tried rollback but still the same issue, I have spent hours trying to figure out which plugin is creating the issue, but unfortunately, it’s your plugin. Our project is on deadline and now we cannot change the functionality of the website, and to be honest, your plugin is really amazing and we want to continue with your plugin.

I request you to kindly check this issue on priority if you can.

    Regards,
    Tarjeet Singh

    Hello @tarjeet98

This behavior was there in all the versions of the plugin. It has nothing to do with the update. You just didn’t notice until now.

“The ajax add to cart” feature is supposed to stop the page redirects. It cannot differentiate between add to cart button and quick buy button until you place quick buy button outside add to cart form.

The only solution is go to side cart settings and turn off “Ajax add to cart” option.

Thanks for your response, I totally understand your point. I will see what I can do about it, I still feel like you really need to think about adding such a conditional function which won’t stop the quick buy now function because this doesn’t seem right, you should not stop other plugin functions. Still, I will mark this as resolved, After knowing this, I don’t think I will continue with this plugin anymore for my future ecommerce sites. I am a bit disappointed but I really do understand your point.

    Thanks for clearing things.

I tried disabling the Ajax cart option from the plugin and now after I click on the Buy Now button it loads and directs me to the respective product and adds the product to the cart and again won’t take me to the checkout page. Definitely some issues or maybe drawbacks in the plugin.

Sorry I have to mark this as unresolved, the plugin is great but not so good with the buy now button plugins.

Also I tried different side cart plugin and it is not creating any issues with the buy now button.

Plugin stops interfering, once you disable the “Ajax add to cart” option from the settings.
If you’re still not getting redirected where you wanted to, probably something else on your site is causing the issue. You may try deactivating the plugin and test.
Please let me know if that isn’t the case, I will further look into it.

I have already mentioned earlier I have deactivated all the plugins and tested, but the issue is still there. I am not sure what exactly is the issue but since I am using other plugin for side mini cart I don’t have any issues from my end. Good luck and thanks.

    Hi,
I have same bug… but with Elementor, when i edit page with elementor and press Update/Safe button, then the side cart opens automatic
