I am trying out Advanced Ads, planning to upgrade to a paid version if I like it. I have played with the Position options and native WP functions to try to make this happen without success: Is it possible to place ads side-by-side within a column? I am using shortcodes.

Details: Imagine a narrow Column 1 on the left and a wider Column 2 on the right. I want my first ad(s) on a given page to go in whichever column has less text, in the gap below it within the column. In Column 1, there is only room for one ad, so Advanced Ads works perfectly. Column 2 has space to hold two ads side-by-side on wider screens. No matter what settings I use in AA or WP, however, the second ad always aligns below the first ad.

If this is part of the paid versions, that’s fine, but please let me know how this would be done.

    Thank you,
    Jim

    Hi Jim,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I fear I would need to see this setup on your website to ensure I really understand what you describe.

When adding two ads with shortcodes and aligning one to the left and the other one to the right, while you don’t enable the clearfix options for both, they should appear side by side as long as your container provides enough space for both.

More flexible is the ad grid option of Advanced Ads Pro.

    Best regards,
    Joachim
