Side by side issue

I am trying to use this plugin to replace Genesis featured Widget Amplified but I have run into one problem.
In Foodie Theme the home page widegetized. ( home top, home middle, home bottom).

In the home middle I am using one image, set large to show only one item.
In the home bottom I want to show 6 post images and excerpts. In sandbox it shows 6 vertical posts.
In the amplified plugin it shows 3 rows of side by side posts. How can I duplicate this format with your widget?
