Side bar/comments not showing in Internet Explorer
-
Hello.
I’m a new blogger/WordPress user (www.paralegalsupport101.com). I chose a theme (Arjuna X) compatible across browsers. It presents fine in Firefox, but in IE 8, it’s not presenting correctly on the HOME page — the side bars and bottom comments are missing and there is an issue with the color where the share buttons are (above the post title). HOWEVER, every other page on the site presents correctly in IE 8.
Markup validity cleared https://validator.w3.org without error. However, css validator (https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/) returned 8 brief errors:
https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=paralegalsupport101.com&profile=css21&usermedium=all&warning=1&lang=enThe last two appear to be related to the color issue and I would guess the first six are the reasons why the side bar and comments aren’t showing since they’re display related.
My problem is, I’m not a coder and there isn’t enough information included in the report for me to determine what needs to be done to correct the errors. So, my first question is, ‘can anyone confirm that these errors are, in fact, my problem,’ and the second question is, ‘can anyone tell me where to find information that will explain these errors and this coding enough so I know how to fix them?’
Thank you so much in advance.
