• When I type something into the side bar search (widget) on my blog and wait for the ajax to kick in and do it’s think, it always prints out:

    Error 404:
    No input file specified.

I’m using the k2 theme and I’m not certain that it’s not a bug in the theme, but I’m guessing it’s a regular WordPress bug. If it’s k2’s fault then let me know.

BTW, I’m also using the latest k2 theme release as of today.
    See the error for yourself.

  • odd.

it works fine if you hit ‘enter’ after tping your search, but the auto search thing gets 404.

The code that automates the search bar must be returning a value that wp won’t recognize.

scary, i searched “hu” and hit enter.. was auto redirected to a BMW car blog site (bimmermania.com ?) that had a post from a kyleabaker… is that normal?? o_O

That error has disappeared by now and @grapho…I also own and run BimmerMania.com and it’s linked on the kyleabaker.com blog so it’s normal that you found it in the search. The BimmerMania link at the top loads a page with an auto redirect (javascript) so it makes sense.

I’d never considered that happening when a search retrieved it so I might have to use another method of linking to it.
