Side bar Menus only to appear in relation to primary pages

  • On the top menu I have a number of pages and each of these are the primary page. Beneath this primary page there is a drop down menu.

    On the side bar I can create a menu for each of the primary pages. So if I have six primary pages on the top menu, the six menus on the side bar appear. If I open any of the the six pages on the top menu, all six menus appear in the side bar.

    Is there any way I can get one menu to appear for each page in the side bar?
