Side Bar issues

  • Hi, I just started a site last night and started with WordPress. When I drag a widget to the sidebar and click on the arrow, a circle that keeps on spinning pops up along with a save icon. When I click on the save icon, the screen changes to “are you sure that you want to do this, please try.” The widget does not stay in the sidebar then.

    How can this be resovled?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
