side bar help

HI
I am having another go as my previous topic went now where.
Im new, have read allot about why the side bar would go to the bottom.
No matter what I read and do nothing would change it.

I gave up and have changed my pages to suit.
However
I still need a side bar for news, events updates etc.
How do do this.
I’m using Bangkok press latest update.

the home page and training blog is where I need the sidebars
I know click on the relevant tab in the administration of each page but the side bar defaults to the bottom and if Im using a slider the photo’s go full size.

Can anyone out there please help.
I currently dont have any sidebars up as they just muck up my pages.
I dont really want them there until I have it sorted.
