Side bar editing

  • Probably a very stupid question: how can I add content or edit a side bar section of a theme page?

    For instance I have About us and Contact pages with main column and a right side bar, how can I edit the side bar?

    I’m working locally with XAMPP….

    I’m new to WP and I simply need to know how to edit the right side bar of pages, for instance About us and Contact.

    If widgets are needed to do that, a step by step description will be welcome.

    I’m using Curio theme from ThemeForest.
