• I recently added a widget to my sidebar. It was too large so I removed it. After I removed it my sidebar width was increased and my main content area width was decreased. Now my text in my posts are all screwed up.

I don’t know how to change it back. I deleted the widget but the width is too wide.

The WordPress template I am using is siteground-wp30. My site is https://thotlady.com

    Can someone help me.

  • The situation you describe sounds very unlikely. You’ve got a bunch of validation errors that are more likely to be the cause of your problems, and a huge mass of embedded styles that probably don’t help matters.

Do you have any suggestions to solve my dilema

My guess is that most if not of all of your problems are related to the ads, which probably generate about $1.29 per year. Try getting rid of the ads, then fix any remaining validation issues. You hosting service has also injected a bunch of their own spammy crap into your footer.

I don’t know what you mean by fixing my validation issues. How do I do that? Is there a way to get rid of the “spammy crap” in my footer.

    https://validator.w3.org/

Go to this site and enter your URL. It will give you a list of all the specific problems that render your html and css invalid. By spammy crap, I mean design credits and links back to your hosting provider. Go to your footer.php file and remove them if you wish. If you don’t mind giving them free advertising, leave it alone.

Well, I have 35 errors. It tells me how to fix them, but I don’t know which php page in the theme editor has the problem. Any suggestions?

Are they in the main template, the theme template, the sidebar template….?
