Sicky post system is now broken

    Was looking for a way to more easily manage sticky posts and installed this plugin.

    I immediately had problems:

    Stars would not activate/deactivate when clicked
    Posts were sorted by sticky status rather than date
    WP sticky system stopped working

    Now I have bigger problems:

    Plugin would not deactivate so I manually removed via FTP
    WP sticky system remains broken
    Reinstalled plugin to no avail

    Please advise.

    I wish to report a false alert as the plugin started working as advertised.

    I do wish that the posts were sorted by date (rather than sticky status) but we will become acclimated to it.

    Hello twirth5,
    on the core posts this is not possible.

    You can enable the sticky posts only on a custom post type (without Archive and Taxonomy) and check with “is_sticky” the state.
