Si Captcha – slow

  • Since the introduction of version 3 of Si Captcha I have noticed a significant increase in my page load time. I’ve had to switch to Fast Secure reCaptcha to restore to speed I was enjoying before.

  • Sorry you had trouble. I am not sure why. I am using Fast Secure reCaptcha in my sites now also because it provides realtime bot protection that the captcha image does not. Also it is easier for the user.

    (@dougrobinson2015), what type of server is your site hosted in? Can you share some of the specs? How many plugins do you have installed and running at the same time in your site? Can you share your site URL if you don’t mind. I would like to check the speed myself.
