Shut down site for a specific time

Hi there!

That is an interesting request but I can see how it could be useful.

I found a plugin that you could use.

Show/Hide Content at Set Time It uses Short Codes and has a “Usage Repeating” option that looks like this:

[time-restrict-repeat type=”daily” ontime=”09:00:00″ offtime=”17:00:00″]
Working 9 to 5
[/time-restrict-repeat]

However if I understand correct, this plugin is used to show or hide content for a specific period of time and not all of the site.

I want to have something like an under construction screen for example, for specific hours of the day so that the site will not be accessible to anyone for those hours.

Do you think that’s possible?
