Shrink in the field for publications/pages

    Hello! You recently provided me with a CSS code to reduce the size of the site on both sides (shrink it). I’m currently using this code, but when the site is shrink on the side, the homepage doesn’t look good. Please provide me with CSS code that does not shrink the entire site, but only the places where the post/page is contained. And the code should work only for the desktop version of the site, not for the mobile version. I’m sorry for my bad English. I’m sending you screenshots to find out what I’m talking about:
