    Hello,

    I have a theme using https://www.plupload.com/ as a front-end upload media feature.

It can shrink the image as it is uploaded, rather than shrinking it after a full upload.

If this plugin also provides the same functionality, it’s even better, it can save users upload time.

Hello @weiching-lin and thank you for your message.

I’m not sure how I can comment to you message, are you using both plugins?

    Regards,

    Hello Alex,

I am running a directory plugin and I want to use your plugin as an image shrink feature.

However, I found that it shrinks after a full upload, so it is recommended whether it is possible to shrink on the client side.

    Hello again,
could you explain me why is it so important for you to have the image reduced on the client side vs. server side?

Also, from what I understand this only resizes the image, if you want to actually optimize it you can try to use an image compressor plugin like

    Regards,
    Alex
