Shows title but not content – Static Pages (Custom)

  • Hi,

    Plugin shows posts and blog related items beautifully. The navigation works great too.

    Problem
    It will navigate to a static page (eg. Home Page) but won’t show any content. The home page is a static page from a custom theme. I don’t expect it to show everything and DO expect that I will need to customise/edit what is displayed for mobile devices.

    What is required to show/edit/customise the content that would be shown for mobile devices? Which files, code-areas need attention?

    Hi Ali,

    It’s possible that your custom theme is saving the pages’ content is a different way/location compared to the default WordPress settings. That would explain why the content is empty when they are read by the WP Mobile Pack plugin.

    The pages can be edited specifically for mobile from the WP Mobile Pack admin area > Content > Pages section. The changes that you make from this section will not affect your desktop theme.
