Shows offline even when online

Hey @darksol,

this may have several reasons:

1.) Stream data is not being updated in real-time. This is simply not possible and would be too resource intense.

2.) Please make sure that you set up the smallest cache interval via plugin settings.

3.) In case you’re using a third-party caching plugin, you have to delete its cache as often as the Twitch plugin cache expires. Otherwise, the caching plugin won’t show the updated data.

I had this issue, which I just emailed the devs about.

I found the cause, which was simply due to users on twitch having alt characters for their display name.

Example:
twitch.tv/yukkitatsu
His display name is:
目的

When the user is added in the list of people to show on the widget
It will then break the view count for the streamers who are live.

Now, seeing as how I mentioned I emailed the devs about this..
I see two solutions for this issue…
1) wait for the devs to push the fix
or
2) remove any users with usernames as shown in my example above until the plugin is fixed.

Hope this info helps, took me about 2-3 days to figure this issue out.
