Showing/Hiding header above #_NOTES

I want to display event notes on the event page with a header above the notes – Simple to do.

But…

When I do not enter any notes for a scheduled event, I do not want the header above #_NOTES to display.

I have tried variations of…
[events_if tag=”#ESC_NOTES” is_empty=0]<p><h2>Notes</h2>#_NOTES</p>[/events_if]
…but can’t seem to figure it out.

Any ideas?
