Showing wrong share counts

I make a duplicate (Duplicate Post plugin) of a blogpost. I change text and images and I publish it. On my computer the LinkedIn and Twitter share counts are the same as the original post, although it has just been posted. Do I have to set the counter to zero somewhere?
