Showing username instead of display name

    Comments are currently being displayed with all of the registered members’ usernames instead of the “Display name publicly as” they have set in their profiles.

    If you could fix this so that all comments show the correct display names it would be appreciated.

    Great plugin btw, look forward to seeing additional features and functionality moving forward!

    Hi john,
    wpDiscuz is designed to find and show the display names, not usernames and it works fine on all our tested websites. Do you use some User Profile plugin? Those can hook the WordPress core function which we use to display current display name.

    It looks like it might be a conflict with BuddyPress perhaps?

    wpDiscuz works fine with BuddyPress,
    We’re currently checking in the core file this issue, we’ll let you know if something is updated here. So you’ll just uninstall/delete and install wpDiscuz again and the problem should be fixed.
