Showing up in search engine results

  • I’m brand new at this. I set up a site but it’s not showing up in search results. I got the FV Simpler SEO plug in and have started using it, but I can’t figure out what else I need to do to get into search results. HELP!

  • What’s the url of your site?

    If you just set it up, it will not appear in any search results. You have to wait probably a few days to a few weeks for your site to appear in google/yahoo/bing.

    OK. I read about a verification process to make sure search engines can crawl the site, but couldn’t figure out how to exactly to do that. I used a template and didn’t change anything so am hoping I’m good to go.
