Hi,

here is the author of the plugin “GeoIP Information”. I wanted to let you know that I will recommend your plugin in my plugin’s documentation so that together, one can show the flag of the current visitor’s IP using the shortcode [geoip_detect2_current_flag] with similar parameters as in your plugin. This does not use your shortcode class but instead re-implements the shortcode logic, only re-using the CSS of the flag icons.

Feel free to adapt code into your own implementation, if you like.

It will be included in the next version (v 2.13.0).

Thanks for providing this plugin, as this provides a way for me to provide flags without worrying that the plugin size might get to big for those who do not need the flags.

Glad you found the plugin useful enough to include support for it from your own plugin.

I’ll be pushing out an update soon (1-3 weeks) which includes quite a few code changes so be sure to check everything works as expected once it’s released. Let me know in a new thread if you have any issues.

Sorry yes the plugin stopped working with the new version of SVG Flags. I have fixed this in my new beta, you can download it here:

You need to replace the content into the geoip-detect folder.

I like to add Flags in Buddypress user registration based, not with geoip, is there any option for that.
like to show in user profile and woocommerce products by user.
