    Hi,

I have this strange error where WP shows me that one of the plugins needs updating but when I actually get to plugins there are no plugins that are out of date – please see this screenshot: https://wikipix.net/files/l6b2hc99do.png

I tried: clearing everything in browser (cookies, cache – purged everything).

It’s not really affecting anything (or at least I didn’t notice yet) – I’m just worried something might not be quite right with the WP installation, possibly leading to some security issues.

Thanks a lot for any input on this!

    Hi,

There used to be issues with this but I haven’t seen them in a while so assumed it was fixed. It always used to update when you visited the updates page rather than the plugins/themes page, however, have you tried that?

    Regards,
    Joey

Update: Bulk deactivating all the plugins and reactivation helped to make it go away.

    Thanks Joey!

Good stuff ?? would be nice to know which one was the culprit! I’ve seen it before with W3TC but none of the ones on your list.
