Showing Sale Price

  • First, this is a great plug-in.

    I am having a little trouble getting the expected price to show for products. I am currently using %OFFER_PRICE% to show product prices. However, this doesn’t seem to be accurate when Amazon shows an item with a “Sale Price.”

    Is there a way to retrieve the sale price of an item? I’ve tried %PRICE% and %LIST_PRICE%, neither of those seem to give the expected price either.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately the Amazon Product API has limited access to the pricing information that is sometimes used on the Amazon site.

    Try using the Amazon Product Scratchpad using your AWS credentials to see what is returned.

    Sometimes changing the ‘Condition’ setting on the Plugin Settings page to ‘All’ – may change the results you get.

    I was afraid that was going to be your answer, figured it was an issue with the API and not your plug-in.

    I see the ‘Sale Price’ when I use the scratchpad, but I can’t figure out how to get the plug-in to display that price. Your suggestion to change the ‘Condition’ setting to all didn’t appear to work either.
