@humzaarain Can you please provide us with an example URL of one of the pages that you seeing a random meta description for so that we can review whether the plugin is outputting the meta description correctly?

Also, please note that whereas Google typically uses the meta description from the metadata for indexing, this is not always the case. Google will sometimes modify or ignore the meta description when it sees fit. This is not due to the plugin not functioning as expected, but rather is due to Google using another value for the meta description it indexes as it’s algorithm has concluded that there is a better version to index. We have additional information on this here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/my-meta-descriptions-arent-showing-up-in-the-search-result-pages/. If Google is ignoring the meta description you have created for a page and creating it’s own description based off the page’s content, we would recommend creating a new meta description that reflect’s the page’s content. We have an article on how to write clean and meaningful meta description for your pages and posts by following the steps given in this guide. https://yoast.com/meta-descriptions/.

    Thanks for your Response,

Here is an example of one link where I’m facing the issue.

You can check the meta description added in yoast and the meta description is being shown by google

    Hi,

We viewed the source code for https://flashbang.biz/white-pc-case/ and?can confirm Yoast is outputting the right meta description. See image: https://pasteboard.co/JoVMdkN.png
Indeed, Google is showing the right description here here.

To resolve the issue we suggest three actions:

    – 1. We ask that you improve the meta description.?Google sometimes changes the meta description to be more descriptive and to help users when they search.?This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/help/my-meta-descriptions-arent-showing-up-in-the-search-result-pages/. You can learn more about improving them with this guide: https://yoast.com/meta-descriptions/.

    – 2. Then use?Inspect Any URL to encourage Google to reindex the page and update the search results accordingly. Check in Google to see if the right one then appears. This guide explains more about that tool: https://yoast.com/help/fetch-as-googlebot/.

    – 3. Consider contacting Google by making a post on their forum and asking them why Googlebot is changing the meta description. You may contact Google here: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/webmasters.
Please let us know if you have anymore questions.
