• Hey all,

Im currently using this theme and its awesome. The only thing that is a bit annoying is that you cant put an image in the excerpt. I want the post to preview an image about the post. So not a featured image because that isnt full width.
The website im trying it on is: thebeautyblog

As you can in the first post. It shows an Welkom image. This images is just a <img src> pasted in the title field in the post. Now i want the image to be in the excerpt( preview of the post) and show the title aswell.

    is this possible?

    kind regards.

    Hello!

I’m not sure what layout do you want to achieve… Is it:
    [title]
    [full width image]
    [post excerpt]
    ?
If so, then such layout is not available, but you can “fake” it. Choose “full posts” under layout option in theme options. Then when you create post insert full width image first, then add some content and insert <!--more--> tag where you want to cut off.

The method I provide above will give you the closest result, but you’ll have to manually divide your posts to display excerpt only on home page. To fully implement this layout you’d need some coding experience with PHP/HTML on top of WordPress.

Luckily i have some! Isnt there a posibility i just use featured image as title image? And also i want to add the post date and comment counter instead of the —– on https://www.thebeautyblog.nl, anywhere i can change that?
