Showing number of open tickets on frontend

Hello,

Currently we got no shortcode for this however we pull the Open ticket count using:
$getNumOpenTickets=$ost_wpdb->get_var("SELECT COUNT(*) FROM $ticket_table WHERE user_id='$user_id' and status='open'");

i can see if we can add this to our v2.0 list
currently we are working hard on attachments feature.
(already made signatures and mass delete/ close features possible in our dev).

I’m sorry but we did not manage to include this shortcode yet.
It’s however on the official list of the 1.2.1 feature schedule (which should be in about 7 days from now).

I’m not sure if someone is having the same issue as me, but I tried putting this shortcode on one of my pages and it doesn’t work. It just shows the shortcode in the brackets.

hmm..
i didn’t have time to test it my self as i just released VirtualPF (a firewall OS) today.
(still working on the first beta download which is now compiling).

My php dev has checked and says it should be working
Please note it only shows after login.

I was logged in and it wasn’t working. However, I downgraded from the latest upgrade because I wasn’t fond of how the frontend looked with the checkbox and close button.

Is there going to be an update released that will give the option to disable the ability for normal users to close tickets?

checked and confirmed a few things.
i expect to have a minor update by tomorrow to fix some bugs and add the extra feature for it.

a.t.m. just need 1 issue fixed (ticket count shortcode).
also verified it wasn’t working even if it works on our dev haha.

once it’s fixed (hopefully shortly) i will push the update

use:
[addosopenticketcount] as the shortcode.

Oh.. and forgot to say; option to disable client from closing tickets is now in the admin settings ??

Layout bug is now also fixed.
