Showing incorrect Open Graph FB/TW Data

Sure @maybellyne, I configure my posts with their own Facebook and Twitter images and after pulling the article through FB debugger I see Yoast is grabbing the featured image and ignores my settings.

We’re viewing the page source of https://astralcitizens.com/hostile-ufo-singapore-airlines-plane/ and it looks like there’s another set of open graph tags that aren’t being generated by the Yoast SEO plugin.

This is probably why you aren’t getting the expected image. If you remove the other set of open graph tags and make sure only the Yoast SEO open graph tags is outputting, and run it through Facebook’s Sharing Debugger Tool and scrape it again, it should then get the expected output for the image.

Hi @mikes41720, thank you for looking into it. Here’s the thing, I don’t use another plugin that generates open graph. I only use Yoast to avoid conflicts. Please advice.

@maybellyne @mikes41720 my issue is now resolved. I switched back to All in one SEO and poof, and the issue is fixed.
