Showing events on homepage AND in calendar

Hi All,
I started working on a website using Accesspress Lite and so far I love it! There’s one thing that I would really like to achieve but haven’t been able to figure out though.
I really like how Accesspress Lite is showing posts as Events on the homepage. However, I’m also planning on incorporating a calendar on one of the pages and it would be great if this calendar would be able to display these events or that Accesspress Lite would be able to display the upcoming events from the calendar on the homepage. This way, it would save me from entering the same information in two locations.
I’ve played around with several calendars, but I cannot seem to get it to work, so I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction.
