In order to have more control of how events display on my WP pages, I would like to use the Query Loop block. Is this possible? I’ve experimented, with strange results.

To be useful, I would need to be able to add the same blocks inside a query loop that I see in the event block editing view: Event Date Time, Event Price, etc. I would also need to use the event dates as parameters to select (for instance) the next five future events.

Is this possible now? If not, is it worth hoping it will be possible soon?

    Thanks,
    Dan

  • Hi Dan,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Our Events Calendar plugin isn’t compatible with the Query Loop block in a way that provides all the event details you want.

With the pro version of our plugin, you could use shortcodes to achieve a similar result but this feature isn’t supported with the free version.

If this is a feature you’d like to see in the future, you can make the suggestion on our Ideas page: https://app.productstash.io/the-events-calendar-suite-roadmap#ideas

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Best regards,

    Marho
