Showing destkop version on mobile

  • Hello there,

    We use Wp touch for years.
    Now, sometimes destkop version of web site start to show on mobile phones.

    Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 5.0.1; 8079 Build/LRX21M; wv) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Chrome/79.0.3945.93 Safari/537.36 [FB_IAB/FB4A;FBAV/252.0.0.22.355;]

    Mabey cache is a problem?
    Can you please help us to solve this?

    Hi, I have the same problem now also. Love the plugin but it appears to be abandoned, is this correct?

    Hello,

    Wp touch will recognize some mobile devices as destkop.
    We have user agents for some of them.

    But if you using cache on your web site, mobile devices that will show destop version will be cached with destkop version, but cache system will recognize that it is a mobile, and it will serve destkop version to other mobile devices.

    We fix that by disable cache for some mobile devices (that wp touch dont recognize as mobile) and tablets.
    As far, it is working perfect for other devices now.

    Hi, this is still not working for me, my iPhone 11 is served a desktop version. This was not the case until recently.
