SHowing description in grid view

Ive recently noticed a strange problem with my install of this plugin. If you switch from list view (which is set to show descriptions) over to grid view on the category page, it works as its supposed to, but if you come to the category page from another page, or refresh the category page, the descriptions show up and the only way to remove them is to switch back to list view and then back to grid view again.
