Showing custom taxonomy only on some posts

    Hi,

    Is it possible to show a custom taxonomy only on some post edit screens but not all? For example, all post edit screens where the post category = x? Or, must I create a custom post type for this? Thank you!

    A given custom taxonomy should only be showing on the edit screens for which they’re associated with. I guess my question is did you create one and then add it to every post type you had available at the time?

    Also have you checked your editor options/screen options area to toggle off the metabox for the taxonomy?
