Showing custom message after order placing

    I want to show a custom message such as “Contact us on WhatsApp” after a user has placed an order. I want this message to be displayed on final order page where order no. along with success message is displayed. Is it possible?

    Hello!

    If you’re using a block theme, then you can edit the Order Confirmation page in your site editor and add whatever extra information you want.

    Is it the correct way? What will happen when WooCommerce is updated? Won’t it remove the changes I did in the file?

    I agree with @assassinateur’s suggestion. If you’re using a block theme, and you make edits to the Order Confirmation page using the block editor (Gutenberg), your changes will typically be safe during WooCommerce updates. The content and layout are stored in the WordPress database, separate from theme files and WooCommerce.
