Showing Both: Comments Approved and No Comments Found Together

  • Hey,
    I was going through my WordPress comments panel and I saw there is showing 2 comments approved which aren’t done by me. And when I click on the comments approved tab, there are no comments. There are no options to upload the screenshot of it here, so I am giving a link to the screenshot. Please check it out and let me know what is wrong here? Is there any problem with the theme or something? And what should I do to correct this?

    Try switching to the twentytwenty theme and deactivating all plugins. The count ought to reflect what is listed. If not, your comments table might have erroneous entries. If comments appear correctly, restore your theme, then plugins, each one at a time, checking comments after each. When the problem returns, the last activated module is the cause.
