showing all posts instead of filtering as i want it

so im trying to implement post carousel with tabs filter and im having some trouble filtering the posts. first of all i removed the “all” tab. when you load the main page where the post carousel is displayed, instead of it showing posts that are only in the certain tab is displays all of the posts(image: https://prnt.sc/bfyCBQ714tN4) the materials tab should only display material posts. the other issue is, when clicking on “string detail” i only have 2 posts but it duplicates one of the posts to fill the space even tho i clicked avoid duplicated in the filter section. https://prnt.sc/LPDkGNqKI7UI please let me know how do i go about fixing this thanks
