Showing ads outside it’s own configuration page. Even to non wp admins.

To each his opinion, but I can’t agree;
* it’s a notice and notices are meant to be shown on the wp-admin pages
* it’s not an ad; it points the user to new functionality added to the plugin itself
* it can be dismissed (although this does not work for some users in 2.4.1, it will be fixed in 2.4.2).

Now what should not happen is that these notices are shown to non-admins, so that one I’ll check & fix if so ??

Re. “Even to non wp admins” -> confirmed (stupid of me) and fixed with this commit (also for some other notices).

If you want you can download the github-version here, it should become 2.4.2 later this month.

So despite the 1-star review thanks for flagging @vitago ??

I just released AO 2.4.2 which fixes the dismissal-issue (which I’m not sure you encountered) and which does not show the notice to non-admin users any more (based on your feedback).

Now taking that into account and since you’re (still) using AO on your own site, I cannot imagine you *really* feel AO only deserves one star, now do you?
