I am using the most up to date WordPress and you plugin. The issue I have found is that I am using Enfold Theme and when I use your plugin and have it display HTML links, etc.. it shows the actual code instead of the rendered HTML.

I have asked Enfold developers and they said I would have to go back to you to find a solution.

This is on my homepage under the Popular Resources area. Here is a shortened link

    Any thoughts?

    Hi there!

Unfortunately, bit.ly is blocked on my work’s network so please share your full URL instead. Otherwise I won’t be able to see what’s going on.

Thanks for the quick reply. This is a development site so I do not with to give out the full URL online. Hopefully they do not block Google Shortener. https://goo.gl/6AgtmH

    That works, thanks!

Is the WPP widget in place? This is what I see: https://oi68.tinypic.com/288xijp.jpg.

I did not even see an email from the link you sent. This is on the homepage and located on the left hand content area side towards the bottom before the footer. Here is a screencap.

    The widget is in place

Ah, I was looking at the wrong place. I see what you mean now.

It’s a bug, actually! If the “Use custom HTML Markup” feature is not enabled the excerpt and its HTML tags are parsed correctly. Otherwise, well, you already know what happens.

I’ll work on a fix and push a new update as soon as I can (hopefully sometime during this week). For the time being, please:

    • disable the “Display post excerpt” option, or
    • disable the “Keep text format and links” option
