    Hi,

I am trying to work out how to show/hide fields based on dependency!
For example if someone chooses a certain ‘School’, lets say ‘School 1’ then the dependent dropdown for the ‘courses’ offered at that school should show (initially hidden).

Have no problems setting up the dependency but have no idea how to show/hide based on selection.

Thanks in advance for any help!
    Chris

    Hi,

I’ll try to explain the process with an example. Suppose the fieldname1 is a DropDown field with two choices: First School, and Second School, furthermore, I’ll assume that your form includes other two dropdown fields: the fieldname2, and the fieldname3 with the list of courses for the first and second school, respectively.

    1. Select the fieldname1 field, and click the “Show Dependencies” link in the choices section.

    2. Select the fieldname2 field from the list: “If selected show” associated to the first choice, and the fieldname3 field from the list: “If selected show” corresponding to the second choice.

    and that’s all.
    Best regards.

I thought that is how I had it set up but I must have done something incorrectly.

Perfect, I’ve visited your webpage and the dependencies are working fine in your form.

    Best regards.
