Hello, all Tiny Forge theme users!

It would be very interesting to see your adaptation of Tiny Forge theme, or perhaps you even made a child theme for it ??

    Don’t be shy!

  • It’s a cool theme but how to add my logo to the upper left?

It doesn’t have this option yet, but I’ll check if it would be possible to add it ??

Edit: I added some helpful resources:

From version 1.3 theme has an option to upload custom logo via Theme Customizer (Admin Panel Menu > Appearance > Customize). I recommend to size its height to 85px.

New version should be approved in a day or two ??

Hi Tomas, great theme you developed here and perfect for my needs. Many thanks for sharing it with the world ??

Rogstamp, thanks for your good word ??

Nice site, I always “monitor” users sites to see the development progress and in many cases I would see thing or two that I have to improve in Tiny Forge theme ??

Sorry to bother. I have Googled with no luck. How can I remove tags and categories below each post?

I haven’t changed much. It’s a good theme. I will change some colors when I get back home from vacation.

Forget my last post. I figured it out. Thanks.

If it would be my will I would have removed tags and categories from the archive pages and index page because I like clean look, but I had to keep them in order to pass theme evaluation. It is required to have a permalink even if the article doesn’t have the title. In this case permalink would be the date in the meta section.

Instead I added optional code in content.php or style.css if you don’t feel strong editing php – search for Tip30 .

I’ve built a sample site using Tiny Forge to show my clients.
Really like the theme. Very clean.

If your clients and any of their customers or visitors use IE8, you might want to know the logo, title and tag line are not showing and the footer images and text are stacked at bottom-left with the word “We” at the top-right corner of the second image.

I have to look at css/ie.css, most likely it is possible to make some adjustments. Overall I don’t even have IE8 on any of my PCs, will have to use virtual Windows XP machine.

I do not think it necessary to make everything work in IE8, so either way is fine as long as those who might care are aware!

Having just temporarily activated Version 1.4.1 on my sandbox site to have a look, it seems the default Tiny Forge does not have the IE8 problem I had mentioned. Also, I am glad to see Tiny Forge and the Standard Widget Extensions plugin for the WordPress Twenties seem to get along fairly well:
