Showcase Products Plugin

I’m looking for ideas or suggestions for how to display groups of products but not in a sales / cart / store environment.

For example lets say we distribute glassware. We have a variety of different glasses but we do not “sell” to the public. We simply need to showcase products and give examples with specifications and product descriptions but without pricing, cart, shipping info.

I’ve tried using the portfolio and blog options to do this but they are missing some features that create frustrating user experience issue with navigation.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
