Show years in event date

Hi,

Thanks a lot for this great plugin.

I’m hoping to show past events (so theoretically going back years). Is there a way that I can get years to show up in the date of the events?

Also, I’m currently creating categories for upcoming and past events, so that I can recategorise an event once it has happened, so it moves to the ‘Past events’ block on the page. Is there a better, more automatic, way to make this happen? It relies on me going in and changing an event over to past once it has happened.
