• Hi,

    Usually, the social connect widget/buttons appears on login form and comment forms in most of the themes.

    But in my theme(Metro from Themify), it doesn’t appear on comment forms. Tried to manually add a short code using this with no success:

    add_action( 'comment_form', 'sc_render_login_form_social_connect', 10 );

    Can you help?

    I have double checked with other themes(default themes). I see that the availability of the widget for comment forms is no more supported as earlier.

    Is it deprecated functionality? I remember using the widget on comment forms and I myself used the widget in custom locations using the hook.

    It is not a deprecated feature. In the link below you will see an example of a post with the social network buttons being displayed in the comment form. This is a WordPress 3.9.1 using Twenty Ten but I have checked with Twenty Fourteen and it works as well.

    Yeah! I see it on your blog.

    I can see it on my blog if I uncheck ” Users must be registered and logged in to comment”. I can’t see it if the comments are disabled for unregistered users. Any help?
