    Hello everyone,

I am using the Prevent Direct Access Videos extension and was wondering if it is possible to use the default player (shortcode: [protected_video …]) and make it open in a “lightbox” when clicking on it?
I know this is possible with the paid version of the Flowplayer, but didn’t find a way yet to achieve this behaviour with the default player.

    Help would be much appreciated!

    Best,
    Viktor

    Hi @deimos1988,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

To assist you better, may we know which lightbox plugin you’re using?

Have you tried to embed our shortcode into the lightbox content?

You may want to drop us an email to hello(at)preventdirectaccess.com so that we can reply to you faster.

Thank you very much for the quick reply (and sorry for my late one)!

I am actually not using one yet, the lightbox plugins I was investigating didn’t seem to be compatible with the PDA Videos extension.
However I am quite new to WordPress and therefore might be missing or misunderstanding something very trivial.

Could you give me a very sipmle example how the default PDA Videos player could be used in a way that it opens in a lightbox?

No worries, @deimos1988. We understand there are a lot of things going on there.

Anyway, here are 3 ways you can display WordPress protected videos in lightbox with our PDA Gold and its extension.

Please let us know if it makes sense to you.
