Show variation value in add to cart message

    Hi,
    My customers stay on the product page when they add an item to the cart because they may want to add other variations of the same product.

    When they add to the cart it only show the generic product name in the “XYZ has been added to your cart” message. I would like the message to include the variation value as well. Is this possible ?

    Our variations are event tickets so have different values;

    2023 Adult, 2023 Child, 2024 Adult, 2024 Child for example

    Any advice or the code to do this would be helpful as I haven’t found anything online that works for this yet

    Please check the snippet in this StackOverflow thread. I’m not sure if it will work with the ticketing plugin you’re using but I can confirm it works on normal variable products.

    You can add it to your functions.php file or use a plugin like Code snippet.
