Show variable description

    Hi, I would like to show the description field, when present, of the selectable variants. The template is OceanWP. Is this an integration that needs to be done on the template or can it be enabled from the plugin?

    I hope you are doing well today. Can you please explain a bit more? I am sorry I didn’t understand your query.

    Did you mean selected variation description? If so, It should be displayed by default.

    Our plugin just displays swatches rather than the default variation dropdown.

    Hi, thank you for considering me.
    As I said before, my intent is to show the description of the variable term. So as to give an explanation under each choice.

    If you tell me that by default it is already active it is probably a limitation of the template, OceanWP.

    As far as I know, they didn’t remove the variation template. Please make sure you have any child theme or not. If so, you can try the parent theme for a test.

    Furthermore, please also check you have added the variation description properly or not- https://paste.pics/LLAKF.

    I have also checked it using OceanWP and Swatches and variation is displaying as expected- https://paste.pics/LLALV

    If you need help regarding that, please contact the OceanWP Author. I hope they will help with this.

    I think I explained myself wrongly.
    The description I want to display is the one that you can edit in “All Products – Attributes – Configure Terms – Edit Term.”

    Thanks for clarifying it. Unfortunately, this feature is not currently available. You can display the Name as a tooltip.

    But it is a great idea. I am considering it as a feature request. I will forward this feature request to the Research and Development team.
