I just set up a few poll questions for my first effort using Forminator. 1 of them includes a user response for them to type in their own answer.
I can see the responses that they’ve submitted on the submissions page, but those responses don’t show on the front end. What’s the fun in that?
I there any way to make user entered responses show up in the results that people see on the front end?
(If not, push this to “feature requests”)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @ampedandy,

At the moment Forminator groups all “other” responses in one group.
I’ll gladly forward this to our devs but I do have some questions about what you’re looking for.
Are you simply trying to show the answer to the member that submitted it and keep the stats showing for other but just show his answer, something like this for example:

Or you’re looking each new answer to be added as a separate value and show on the results chart?

If I were designing it, I would simply show the results the way they display on the submission page in the back end. The user entered responses still get grouped with “other” in the statistics, but their typed in answers show under the results.

It’s a good way to encourage engagement.

    Hi @ampedandy,

    Makes sense ??

Thanks for the feedback, I’ve passed this over to our dev team so they can discuss it further.
