show upcoming event

I would be happy to help you with this. So you can create a category called “Upcoming” for your events, and you can display the List View, so that the Events show up on your main page in the order that they are happening.

However, if you want to filter by that category, you will need the Filter Bar Addon: https://theeventscalendar.com/products/wordpress-calendar-filter-bar/

As well, if you want to display a version of that calendar with only that category, you will need Events Calendar Pro to use a shortcode, as well as needing it to be compatible with the Elementor widgets: https://theeventscalendar.com/blog/news/the-events-calendar-adds-elementor-compatibility-to-events-calendar-pro/
